We are delighted to announce Mike Broughton will be working with us as our weather and routing expert for the Christmas Caribbean rally 2013.  MD of Winning Wind, Mike has competed in the Whitbread Round the World Race, 15 Fastnet Races, 8 Sydney-Hobart Races and more than a dozen Trans-Atlantics. Over the last 30 years, he has won class in just about every blue water ocean event. As a shore based maritime expert, Mike has provided tactical weather information for the Volvo Ocean Race, America’s Cup and for high profile campaigns such as, Dee Caffari and teenager Mike Perham’s world-record circumnavigations. Mike will be attending the preparation weekends and will also be on hand in Lanzarote before the start of the rally providing weather and routing forecasts and advice for all participants.

Both schools offer a wide range of RYA courses, or if you are just looking to brush up, they can tailor courses around your needs.
